Après avoir fait paraître l’album POGOGO au début 2018, le groupe s’est remis en mode composition durant l’été afin d’amorcer de nouvelles créations à sortir pour l’année 2019. Quoi de mieux pour débuter ce nouveau projet créatif, qu’une collaboration avec nul autre que Serge Brideau des Hôtesses d’Hilaire. De passage à Montréal, ce dernier, à la demande du groupe en a profité pour faire un tour dans leur studio afin de raconter l’histoire de Bikini Joe. Ce personnage caricaturé est pourtant bien réel et ici mis en chanson sur une trame à la fois obscure et funky.
